Program Description

1. Major Declaration

JI offers programs in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). Irrespective of the intended major, all undergraduate students take the same core courses in the first two semesters. Students are required to declare majors in the spring semester of their sophomore year. To be qualified for declaring a major, students must have completed the first year level Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Introduction to Engineering and Introduction to Computer & Programming with satisfactory grades and a cumulated GPA specified by individual programs.
